As part of the implementation of the 100 WEEKS project, two field missions were carried out in July 2020. The K’ORIGINS team, made up of its general director Madame Korotoum DOUMBIA, its Programs manager Mr. Jean François OUFFOUET and his project assistant Madame Aicha DOUMBIA, went to the headquarters of the COOPAPROMAN cooperative in Manzanouan on July 10, 2020. The objective of this first visit was to present the project to the cooperative and to collect information from base. The discussions made it possible to refine the partners’ approach to the project and to plan future activities.
The 2nd field visit was held from July 19 to 25, 2020 and aimed to launch the 100 WEEKS project by identifying beneficiaries following field surveys, their enrollment and the distribution of MTN chips and mobile phones. This will allow them to receive the financial assistance planned as part of this project. Training on filling out financial diaries for coaches was also conducted. This mission made it possible to enroll 200 beneficiaries distributed among the 7 VSLAs (Village Savings and Credit Associations) in the localities of Manzanouan and N’Djorekro-Agni, in the Indenié-Djuablin region, in the center east of Ivory Coast.
