With a view to setting up a framework for consultation, K’ORIGINS is also the designer and organizer of the International Conference on the Certification of Agricultural Products (ICC). The main objective of this conference is to create a framework for reflection on issues related to sustainable agriculture. Previous editions of ICC were held in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018 in Côte d’Ivoire.

In order to reach a larger number of actors and to further involve state structures and the government itself, K’ORIGINS organized the 5th edition of ICC in Paris (France), from February 27 to 28, 2020, on the sidelines of the International Agricultural Show. This edition of ICC had the theme “Sustainable Agriculture: Investments and Innovations”. The specific objectives of this conference were:

Share experiences in innovative agricultural technologies
Identify existing initiatives that can serve as leverage or models
Encourage investment for the popularization of agricultural innovations
Encourage support and innovative partnerships, business development and infrastructure
Create an environment conducive to agricultural innovation
Promote agricultural investment policies
The targets were ministries, exporters and other industries etc. In addition, it was an opportunity to present some products sold by K’ORIGINS, made from cashew nuts. In an exhibition space dedicated solely to its partners, K’ORIGINS was able to involve 7 structures from Mali, Burkina, Côte d’Ivoire and Benin. These companies were able to present and market their products from sustainable and responsible agriculture.

The 2020 edition of ICC was a great success, very encouraging for future editions.
